On this page I will collect various information regarding
Estonia(country where I live at) and
Windows Phone 7. Perhaps, some of that information could be interesting for local companies, user groups and software developers. That is not an official information by Microsoft, that information is collected by me using different internet sources.
Current situation
- Phone availability: No information yet.
- Marketplace: according to this website marketplace for Windows Mobile with commerce capabilities is not yet available in Estonia. That means customers from Estonia will be able to access Windows Marketplace for Mobile, but will only have access to free applications. Probably, there will be a new list of countries for Windows Phone marketplace in future.
- XBox Live: according to this Wiki page XBox Live is not available in Estonia. XBox Live service is an important part Windows Phone 7 integration with XBox. So probably there will be no opportunity to play XBox games for Estonian customers.
