On this page I am planning to collect information on Windows Phone 7 marketplace and different opportunities to get rich using WP7.
Information on market place
- Annual registration (developer subscription) fee of $99
- Unlimited number of paid application per registration.
- Number of free applications is limited to 5 per registration with additional fee of $19.99 each
- Here is a list of 29 countries/regions that will have a full access to Windows Phone/Mobile marketplace. In other regions/countries customers will be able to access Windows Marketplace for Mobile, but will only have access to free applications.
My advices to you
- Analyze your market. Perhaps there is an opportunity in your local market. Perhaps you can get a sponsorship for your application from local companies.
- Be innovative. Use new technologies, use integration with other products like Bing Maps, Microsoft Tag, Facebook, Twitter etc.
- If you have a great idea for an application, but no skill in software development visit this Windows Phone 7 website by Microsoft and win some money for that
- If you still have no ideas visit iPhone or Android marketplaces and find top applications there. Perhaps there is an idea for you among them :)
